Be ahead of the curve with Steering Fusion, exclusively from Sparc Drive. Unlock super-tight handling and unbeatable traction—without the drawbacks of open diffs or selectable lockers.
Our axle system features game-changing off-road tech such as regenerative steering differentials and real-time control logic. Built to tackle challenging terrain, Sparc Drive axles always maintain a "locked" state (even while torque vectoring) for instant traction response to keep you moving forward.
Conquer every corner with the only axle capable of delivering full torque while simultaneously turning on a dime. Traditional Locking Differentials and "Cutting Brakes" compromise on traction for maneuverability. They also require auxiliary servos and more driver inputs to engage and disengage which can interrupt the off-roading experience. Say goodbye to all that extra hassle. With our patented Steering Fusion technology, you can enjoy maximum traction with maximum maneuverability. Seamlessly. Automatically. All the time. No additional servos or distracting control inputs are needed.
This complete axle kit includes front + rear axles, and a Steering Fusion electronic control module with adjustable torque vectoring control.
Specifications:
This axle kit works with your existing 2 (or more) channel RC radio controller and is compatible with Element Enduro, Axial SCX10, SCX10.2, SCX10.3 Builder's kit, SCX10 Pro, and similar AR44 / AR45 (straight-axle) style 1:10 scale crawlers running 2S or 3S batteries. The final drive ratio is 2.5:1. For optimal low-speed crawling, we recommend either a brushless crawler-specific motor (we like the Fusion SE series) or a brushed motor with a high turn count and the smallest available pinion gear.
Each axle is built with precision steel gears and ball bearings for durability and is hand-assembled in the USA.

FAQ:
With the SA-10S axle kit, is there a way to add Deluxe or Ultimate functions down the road?
Yes, we have an upgrade path that allows SA-10S owners to incrementally add Tank Turn and Direct Mode without entirely replacing the axles. Contact us for more details.
Do Sparc Drive axles use brakes or clutches to vector torque and limit wheel slip?
Unlike other traction control systems, Sparc Drive axles are fully gear-driven. Sparc Drive does not use brakes, clutches, or any other type of friction components in its axles.
How does Sparc Drive compare to a cutting brake?
A cutting brake disengages power from the left or right wheel to help pivot around a turn. With good timing and coordination, it can be beneficial on flat or downhill terrain. However, when climbing rough terrain, a cutting brake kills forward movement. In contrast, Sparc Drive symmetrically adjusts left and right wheel speeds while always maintaining full drive torque.
Do I need a radio transmitter/receiver with 3 or more channels? What about servos?
Sparc Drive’s Steering Fusion control module is plug-and-play compatible with 2-channel radio systems, and unlike other drive accessories, no additional servos are needed. The Direct Mode capability included with our Ultimate kit provides an additional wire to allow direct control of the torque vectoring motors using a third channel. This gives maximum control flexibility but requires more driver attention to operate. When the direct mode wire is unplugged, Steering Fusion's automatic torque vectoring takes over again.
Will Sparc Drive axles work with over/under drive transmissions?
Yes. While the cornering benefit of overdrive can't compare to our real-time torque vectoring, the functionality of our axles is not affected by having different front vs. rear driveshaft speeds.
Are Sparc Drive axles compatible with DIG?
Yes, Sparc Drive axles work well with Dig units. During a typical dig turn, the rear wheels are usually dragged around like dead weight by the front wheels. With Sparc Drive axles, the rear wheels will automatically counter-rotate in the direction of the dig turn to help pivot the vehicle in the intended direction. Sparc Drive works out of the box with all existing Dig transmissions. No additional settings or equipment are needed.
